Virus z3ta mod

Probably won't, but who knows. I'm thinking your earlier virus mod in the same folder as the normal z3ta created a registry entry that's now confusing the VST adapter. But that's just a guess, and other than diving into the registry, I don't know how to fix that problem, if that's what it is. Thanks oroboros I have kind of given up for now, but only temporarly.

I'll get back to it later. I have had some software that supplied a registry cleaner tool. I may bug you some day for instructions of how to edit the registry I have actually done it before, it just scare me. I've been a unix programmer for 20 years fortran and C so I'm not a total idiot when it comes to computers. Anyways thanks for yours and everyone else's help on this! One thing you could do is, if you have a version of Sonar previous to 6, without the latest integrated VST thing, is to run it and see if it sees the virus mod.

As it would use the same VST wrapper system as P5 currently does, what one doesn't see, the other shouldn't either. Then we know it's a registry issue. Then open up the registry, go to 'Edit', 'Find If you want to go the destructive route, first backup your registry - Regedit, highlight 'My Computer', 'File', 'Export', call it something, place it somewhere, check 'Export range: All', 'Save' - note it will be a huge file, as you're saving the entire registry.

Then re-run the VST adapter, with your virus mod in its new, proper location, see if P5 finds it. And if that doesn't work then try voodoo cause I don't know what else to tell you. If anything goes screwy - Regedit, 'File', 'Import', import your previously saved. Everything should be back to normal. Of course, at your own risk and all. I take no responsibility, blah blah blah. I have an issue on my computer where different versions 2. Shouldn't happen, but did. So only one of them shows up.

I never use the instrument as an FX, so I haven't fixed the problem, but I know what the problem is. It's just cool that all Sonar 7 users can now have a free bonus synth, and a damn fine one at that! Fr4ncesco, first and foremost, thanks for all the work you've put into keeping this mod going. Now on to my next issue, after changing presets on the Mod for a while z3ta will spike Sonar's output meters though I'll hear no audio. The only way to hear any audio again is too close out z3ta entirely then put it back in the project.

I have color coded using skins so I quickly know which is which. I asked Fr4ncesco about patch changes awhile ago and he suggested I check the forum I also cannot send patch change info from a CC message.

Max Output Level: When I go to My Computer, I dont have an "All User" folder, its labeled shared documents with the hand holding the folder icon. Ive done several searches manually and through the search function with no luck. Does this have something to do with me being the administrator for this computer?

DXi2 is a slight upgrade to DXi. Just to complicate things The app won't be able to send it any MIDI, but for an effect that may not be important.

Both are not perfect and have their problems: DirectiXer: - Tempo sync in a few plug-ins doesn't work for me e. But someone mentioned B4 above. I consider buying it and have downloaded the demo from NativeInstruments. Now there is a great problem. When running a midi loop with B4 playing it will crash the system typically at the turnaround.

Is this caused by the VST adapter. After a crash everything is in slow motion. Mouse doesn't work. Ctrl alt del works after 20 secs or so.

There is a specific dx patch for the B4, but you don't get it with the demo. So I don't know if this would change things. At least I want I product that can loop. How else can you audition for drawbar settings till you found what you want? It's not so much a change in operation, just the sounds it's using to generate synthesis from.
