I preordered last week after playing the PS4 beta. It left me wanting more. I played the PS3 beta a while back and it failed to impress me. The graphics were shoddy and the network latency was bad. Got my Early Access code last night and will be playing today. The 30 days will be activated when you enter the game registration code that comes with the game on the 14th if you get your version earlier, you might want to hold off registering it before Monday.
Are their two trophy lists or does it carry over. Also I have an active subscription period at the moment on ps3 will that carry over to the ps4 version as well? When i was logging in to the client for the beta there was an option in the bottom right of the screen which said something like Ps3 to Ps4. Is that another way of doing it instead of using the mog station?
The name of that button is a bit misleading, that has already been reported. Done the upgrade. If you wanted to be able to switch between the two, you should have bought a separate PS4 version and registered it instead of upgrading. Yes, you can buy another PS3 version and register it to your account and it will then let you use both. That happens if you played Beta2 on PS4 last week.
I upgraded mine when I got up this morning. Did it the first thing in the morning to check if everything worked. Now I can enjoy instances as they should have been played, with lower latency. That, or just inflict myself so very very much mental pain by farming Atmasochism Crystals. Trophies will be available once the game is out officially on the 14th where the full digital game data will go out and data is installed from physical versions.
How do I access them? The Moogle Cap is not in my inventory. Fat Chocobo and and Moogle minion were supposed to be distributed on 13th for existing users with early access, and 14th for new players. I was excited to play on my PS4, but just discovered that after the latest firmware update to PS4, my plain, cheap, usb keyboard no longer works on the system.
Yet it is not a wireless device. I cannot play this game without a keyboard, and I live 25 miles from the nearest store that sells one, and why would I dare go out of my way to get a new one, just to come home and get the same stupid error. My cheap wired keyboard works fine. I plug it in and the system asks which user is using the device.

No, it simply means that you need to have an account with the PS3 version activated on it, and you need to have logged in on a PS3. The trophies will become available on the 14th. The disks will simply act as a Full Game Activation.
Anyone can get early access and then cancel out, so we get a different build of the game and not the entire full version. It shares the list with PS3. Are the tropheis retrospective though? What If I hit fates during that period? Will the trophy pop later on, or will it be lost forever? How can I do it? The Beta 2 client doubles as the Early Access and Release client. I have two Final Fantasy 14 accounts and when I used the confirmation code for one it would not let me put in the other.
When I try to change the log in information in the launcher it will not let me change the square enix ID. When I try to enter the confirmation code for the other account it gives me error code that states. I usually play on pc, but I decided to pre order the ps4 version so I can kick back and relax a little while playing, but when I go to log in for this early access, it wont let me, I DID play beta 2, so I know that I do not need to put the code into the PS store, is there anything you can do to help me?
Hi, I have a simple question that I cannot seem to find the answer to. I just want to know if the PS3, PC, and PS4 people will be playing together on the same servers or will they be separate? How do I add ps4 service to my 2nd account? I played the beta on the ps4. Both the first and second phase. If i wanted to buy it on the ps3 psn, would I still keep my character that i created on the ps4 and then be able to upgrade it to the ps4 version.
I know you said that you must have played it on the ps3,so does that mean I would need to start over. How far would i need to play the ps3 version before i could upgrade? I keep get error , it say my code are not valid, my hard copy are eu, my psn are us region, how to solve this.
However, after the fact, we decided we wanted to try and set up some more characters on the PS3 so we could play together from the same household. So before I plunge into another purchase, can you please let me know what the proper steps for me to take would be to get this set up going?

I can not access my mob station account and upgrade to the ps4 version. I am really frustrated with this, please help me play the game i have bought! I go back to the PSS and do the code again and it does the same thing. Do I have to wait a little while for the code that the website gives me to take?
Or is this something else? I have been trying to redeem my code for the PS3 to PS4 upgrade for a few days now, but after i enter it, it just takes me back to the PS4 dashboard. I have tried this multiple times with no avail. I havent played the game for a few months on my PS3 but i used to play it a lot when it came out. My subscription is not active, but before i reactivate it i want to make sure i have it downloaded and working on my PS4. Any idea what the problem might be?
Really frustrating, then I tried it on the store. Also, if you have a PS3 version, do not forget to upload your character data using the bottom right button of the log in screen.
Then, when its up and running on ps4, press the same button on the log-in screen to download your characters. When you start the game, pick the same data centre that houses your characters. You will need to watch the intro again, but then you will be able to select your character. I managed to amble my way through the upgrade yesterday.
